Cycle of Service is an intense, fun 2 and a half day, or one day bike ride across Alabama to help ARM end substandard housing in rural Alabama. Days 1 and 2 are 85, 96 miles respectively and a Saturday Century option. The final day is 56 miles. The funds gained from cyclists’ registration and sponsorships provide home repair assistance and help build homes for families in Lee, Macon, and Sumter counties. It is also helping renovate a historic church in Tuskegee being converted into a community outreach center.

There is SAG support along the way with water, snacks, and repair kits. At night we stay at churches and meals are provided. We will have plenty of rest stops along the way and various speed groups. If riding across Alabama, you will need to train to ride at least 50 miles in one time. Getting used to your saddle is the most critical part.

If you are using a spin/stationary bike or logging miles in your community, you can log miles beginning March 10th through April 22 and use the mile tracking sheet. Once registered, we will contact you about getting this set up and setting up your fundraising page.

Once regsitered, you can set up a fundraising page and use your contacts to support you. More details about the ride are found on the cycle of service website and Riders Information Guide also found on the cycle of service website.

We look forward to riding with you or having you participate with us!Riders at Mississippi Line
